Dundalk Horse Racing stadium
Ireland’s first all-weather racecourse features a stadium with a 30m cantilever extending from the masts to the edge of the racecourse to ensure uninterrupted visibility from the first floor tiered restaurant. In the second phase, the stadium was extended by 120% to serve both horse and greyhound racing, doubling occupancy to 5,000, including 4 corporate boxes accommodating 140 racegoers. An extension to the North side overlooks the new paddock area and bookies square.
Limerick Greyhound Stadium
Limerick Greyhound Stadium Complex, incorporating a 15,000sqft headquarters for the Irish Greyhound Board, was built on a tight 12 acre green-field site. Almost 2,000 spectators are accommodated over four storeys, with all levels directly interconnected and large double height spaces which are strategically located to provide prime vantage points for ‘big-screen’ viewing and good connectivity across the building.
